Benefits of membership to SSSSR:-

  • Access to research papers/PDFs which may otherwise be costly; opportunity to discuss papers with the group.
  • Notification of  lunch time sessions at Porterbrook Clinic and Continued Professional Development events.

SSSSR members will interact with one another via the following means, which include:-

Google email group – research and academic information of academic interest including articles, courses and training opportunities will be relayed via ssssr@googlegroups.com.

As a member of the group you can contribute and respond to the postings directly with the group membership at a time convenient to you. There is also the facility for you to use the group list to generate your own discussion about certain issues (so long as it relates to the remit of SSSSR). This will remain a closed group and is primarily for staff and post graduate students at Porterbrook clinic and andrology (urology) Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, and to students and invited visitors.

Facebook Page – You add SSSSR as an organization on Facebook to view converse with other members of SSSSR and also photos of presentations and events.

Clinical Meetings in Human Sexuality – lunch time presentations delivered at the Porterbrook Clinic on a Thursday Lunchtime between 1230 to 1325, with occasional workshops running from 1400-1500.
